Enhance Your YU Experience

Enhance your educational experience by participating in programs at other universities. We offer opportunities for undergraduate and graduate study in the U.S. and several programs in partnerships with Israeli universities. These opportunities can further your education in your field of choice and enhance your positioning for professional success. Interested students should speak with their Academic Advisor to learn more. 

Undergraduate Opportunities

In agreement between 麻豆官网首页入口 (YU) and Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.), YU will pay F.I.T., within limits, for coursework taken by Beren Campus students that have been approved as part of a required course of study. To learn more and register, download this form.

YU students may enroll at NYU as non-degree undergraduate students in courses in nutrition and dietetics in their junior or senior year. Students pay NYU directly for these credits. These courses satisfy some of the prerequisite courses required for many clinical nutrition programs throughout the country including the NYU Master of Science degree program in Nutrition and Dietetics. 

Graduate Opportunities at U.S. Universities

YU offers several joint/dual degrees and early assurance programs in partnership with universities across the U.S. Joint/dual degree programs allow undergraduates to begin taking graduate coursework during their undergraduate studies鈥攁ccelerating their path to a graduate degree. Early assurance/guaranteed admissions programs allow YU undergraduates the opportunity to apply for admissions to their graduate program of choice ahead of the typical admissions cycle. Shana Bet students are not eligible for any of these joint programs.

Joint and Dual Degree Programs:

Stern College offers a combined program in nursing with New York University鈥檚 College of Nursing (NYUCN).  In this program students complete a Shaped Major as well as General and adjusted Jewish Studies requirements at Stern College. Students complete this work during 7 semesters and must earn a minimum of 119 credits. Students are required to maintain a 3.0 GPA both overall and in the prerequisite courses and cannot receive less than a C in any prerequisite course. Credits remaining to complete the BA degree are counted back from the nursing school. Eligible students may then be admitted to a 15-month accelerated program at NYUCN which begins in January. Students receive the BA degree after successfully completing one semester at NYUCN. They are awarded the BSN at the successful completion of the nursing school and have the option of continuing on for a master鈥檚 degree after first working as an RN for a designated period of time. 

Stern College offers a combined program in Occupational Therapy with Columbia University. During the first three years at SCW, students complete college requirements and prerequisites for Columbia鈥檚 OT program. They apply to the 2-year Columbia program during the fall semester of their junior year.  Students are awarded the B.A. from Stern College after the first year at Columbia, and the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy upon completion of the program. 

麻豆官网首页入口 and  offer an affiliation program to qualified students through which they can receive an undergraduate degree and a Doctor of Optometry degree in seven years. Students accepted into this program attend 麻豆官网首页入口 for three years while they complete college requirements and prerequisites for the College of Optometry. After the first year at SUNY College of Optometry, students receive the B.A. degree. The O.D. degree is awarded after completing the four years at SUNY College of Optometry. 

麻豆官网首页入口 offers a combined program in Physical Therapy with the State University of New Jersey (Rutgers). During the first three years at 麻豆官网首页入口, students complete college requirements and prerequisites for the Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Students are awarded the B.A. after completing the first year at the professional school and the D.P.T. at the completion of the 3-year program. 

麻豆官网首页入口 offers a combined program in physician assistant studies with . During the first three years, students complete college requirements and prerequisites for Mercy College's M.S. program. After completing 111 credits with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0, and a prerequisite GPA of 3.2 with at least a B in prerequisite courses, qualified students continue at Mercy College. After the first year at Mercy College, students receive the B.A. degree from 麻豆官网首页入口. The M.S. degree is awarded after completing two years and three months at Mercy.

麻豆官网首页入口 and  (NYCPM) offer a combined program in podiatry. During the first three years, students complete college requirements and prerequisites for the NY College of Podiatric Medicine. After the first year at NYCPM, 麻豆官网首页入口 awards the B.A. NYCPM awards the D.P.M. upon completion of the program

Early Assurance Admissions Programs:

Students in their 4th on-campus semester at YU who have a cumulative science GPA of 3.50 or higher, and who have completed first-year English and at least 8 of the following courses are eligible to apply for provisional early acceptance into the Doctor of Dental Medicine program: Calc. I and Stats or Calc. I and II; Bio. I and II with lab; Physics I and II with lab; General Chem. I and II with lab or Organic Chem. I and II with lab. Early Admissions Programs for HS Students Admitted to YU:

麻豆官网首页入口 Honors Programs and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine enthusiastically announce a new partnership that provides a select number of exceptional high school seniors early assurance to an honors undergraduate education and medical school training. High school senior applicants should have a demonstrable interest in medicine and be certain that medicine is the lifetime career they want to pursue. Successful candidates will be encouraged to explore a wide range of Yeshiva liberal arts and sciences majors in order to acquire a broad-based education that can be applied to the study of modern medical science.

Partnerships with Israeli Universities

YU鈥檚 partnerships with Israeli Universities enable YU students to pursue Ulpan study or a streamlined pathway to competitive master鈥檚 degree. 

Ulpan Programs:

Graduate Opportunities:

YU students who maintain at least a B average and who have scored a minimum of 1200 on the SAT are guaranteed admission to the Bar Ilan International MBA Program. Students who don't meet the aforementioned qualifications but maintain a B-plus average at Yeshiva will also be accepted. The 13-month M.B.A. program will be taught in English at Bar Ilan in Israel.  Once admitted to the program, students will have to maintain at least a B average. YU students who graduate with an undergraduate degree in CS with a GPA of 3.8 or higher in CS will be admitted to Hebrew University鈥檚 competitive Masters in Computer Science without need for an interview. Students with lower CS GPA鈥檚 may be considered for the program, subject to further review, interviews, and recommendations from YU faculty. The CS master鈥檚 degree program at Hebrew University is designed to accommodate English speaking students, and classes will be taught in English.

YU students who graduate with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science at YU with at least a 3.5 GPA in the major can direct enroll in the Bar Ilan Master鈥檚 in Computer Science program. Classes will be taught in English. YU students who complete an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics with a GPA of 3.5 or higher in their major are able to direct enroll in the Master of Science (M. Sc.) in Electrical Engineering (with specialization in Data Science and Information Technology) at BIU. YU students who complete an undergraduate degree in the above-mentioned majors with a GPA of 3.4 or below may apply and be considered for an interview and acceptance. YU students participating in this program will be required to complete 10 core courses, decided upon by BIU, with an average of 3.3 or higher before commencing the M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering. Such courses will either be offered at YU or via an online platform.

YU students who complete a baccalaureate degree in Chemistry with a GPA of 3.6 or higher in their major, will be permitted by BIU to directly enroll in the M.Sc. in Chemistry program at BIU. YU students who complete baccalaureate degree in Chemistry with a GPA of less than 3.6 in their major may apply and be considered for an interview and acceptance in the M.Sc. in Chemistry program at BIU.

YU students who complete a baccalaureate degree in Chemistry with a GPA of 3.5 or higher in their major, and have taken Inorganic Chemistry and Lab and Biochemistry of the Cell, will be permitted by Hebrew U to directly enroll in the M.Sc. in Chemistry program at Hebrew U. Students must also select a faculty mentor in the Institute of Chemistry at HUJI who is willing to accept them into his/her own research group, and take Physical Chemistry Laboratory at Hebrew U as well as 4 additional credits depending upon the elective students have taken. Students with a 3.3 GPA and exemplary letters of recommendation will also be considered for admission.

Through YU鈥檚 partnership with Hebrew University, students have completed a baccalaureate degree with a major in Biology with a GPA of 3.4 or higher in their major and have contacted a mentor at the Institute of Life Sciences at HUJI who is willing to accept them into his/her own research group, will be admitted into Hebrew U鈥檚 Masters (M.Sc.) in Institute of Life Sciences (Biology) program without an interview.
